As many of you know, I published proposed hours of operation.  For those of you driving past, sorry, I'm still closed and jumping through the last several hoops.  The hours are now up here so they are easier to find:
The hours listed are for both the Bakery/Coffee Shop (BFFJava.com){Shift 1&2}, for Pick-Your-Own hours {Shift 2}, and for our fruit stand (Borecky Fruit Farm Market) {Shift 2}, as produce becomes available.

We are overjoyed to announce the reopening of our beloved bakery and coffee shop, a cherished haven that has been a cornerstone of our community since 1985. After enduring the profound challenges posed by the global pandemic, the great losses of the pillars of the family, along with some major life-changing events within our family:  we stand resilient and ready to welcome you back with open arms and hearts brimming with gratitude.

Our scratch bakery, where every loaf, pastry, and confection is crafted with time-honored techniques and an abundance of love, has been a symbol of warmth and tradition for decades. Since 1999, our coffee shop has been a sanctuary for those seeking the perfect brew, a quiet corner to ponder, and a vibrant space to connect.

As we reopen our doors, the air will once again be filled with the enticing aroma of freshly baked bread, the rich fragrance of perfectly roasted coffee, and the heartfelt laughter of friends and family. Our legacy, built on dedication and the pursuit of culinary excellence, continues to flourish, thanks to your unwavering support.

We invite you to join us in celebrating this new chapter, where each bite and sip is a testament to resilience, community, and the enduring joy of simple, delicious pleasures. Welcome back to your home away from home.

When?  Good question!  We have every intent on opening in APRIL 2025 (I hope). 

A couple of surgeries happened and we were forced to move our other business from Millcreek to Fairview as well; so that put a delay on re-opening the coffee shop/bakery last year (2024). 

There are some hardware issues that are slowing the opening this year, but we are diligently working those out.  If the worst possible outcomes for every problem happen, then look for us in May 2025.  I suspect that we will be offering days and hours of operation that are not typical, but we're not typical either!

The week before we re-open, we will post the notice here, along with our days and hours of operation.  We plan on having a real Menu of what will be available for any given day, week, month and/or quarter so you can plan your visits accordingly.   Check back often - time is fast ticking by to our re-opening.

Newest version of the Coffee Shop and Bakery Logo:

The Newer version of the Logo does several things:
  1. The colors are the progression of a shot of espresso, Crema at the top, Middle layer of of the shot and finally the rich bottom layer.
  2. The Hebrews Reference is easier to see and read.  You can look it up if you wish, but it refers to Faith and Believing.  Trust me, both are necessary for Farming and Opening a business dependent on traffic, in a low traffic area.  I prefer the NIV version.
The old version had the Crema Portion, the Coffee Portion and the ripe coffee berry color as well as the Faith reference Hidden in the top row.
